The stereoscopic view given by these pairs of slides, combined with high-quality photographic images, gives a view of middle-ear pathology. The 50 pairs of slides cover eardrum pathology, from normal eardrum to cholesteatoma. It includes a stereo slide viewer, and a booklet provides a brief description and anatomical drawing of what can be seen in each slide. The 3D views allow the user to experience a depth of field crucial in understanding middle-ear pathology and surgery. Each slide is colour-coded and numbered - green-numbered slides on the right, red-numbered slides on the left.
