This work is intended to be of interst to both the experienced and the novice shot. The book is divided into three parts. Part one examines the various categories of shotgun made today and how they work, how they attempt to meet special needs and to what extent they succeed. The second part discusses gun fitting chokes, patterns, catridges and technique and handling and the third part looks at driven game, rough shooting, clay pigeon shooting and wildfowling. The book also includes appendices relating to the law, technical information and publications. The author has had assistance from many shotgun manufacturers.
