Biografía del autor:
Miss Read's first novel, VILLAGE SCHOOL, was published in 1955, beginning her bestselling series of novels about the downland village of Fairacre. Miss Read has won many thousands of loyal readers with both the Fairacre series and her equally well-loved series about the Cotswold village of Thrush Green, the most recent of which was THE YEAR AT THRUSH GREEN. She and her husband, a retired schoolmaster, live near Newbury in Berkshire.
