This copy comes from the library of former Life magazine photographer and later the head of the Life magazine photography laboratory, George Karas andhas been inscribed to him, by photographer, Slim Aarons, in blue felt tip pen on the front fly "George/Old Bean:/Thanx George/For my First/Life cover/Best/Slim Aarons". A beautiful copy of Slim Aarons' now classic and uncommon book on the well-to-do. A wonderful book with a great association and inscription and which includes a comment on one of Slim Aaron's career high points. An exquisite book. Scarce in this gorgeous condition
