2°, HLn. Der letzte Jahrgang von USSR in construction, dazu der erste Jahrgang der Nachfolgerin. Komplett mit den Umschlägen in zwei priv. Halbleinenbänden, wobei die Hefte 11 und 12 von 'USSR in construction' am Ende des Bandes mit der 'Soviet Union' eingebunden wurden. In 12 bzw. 10 Heften, so komplett, da die Nr. 1 der 'Soviet Union' erst im März 1950 erschien. Beiliegend ein schlichtes Informationsblatt der Redaktion von 'Soviet Union' zum Anliegen der Zeitschrift. Hintergrund der neugründung und der Pause war wohl, das man mit der Nummer zu Stalins 70. Geburtstag (Nr .12 / 1949) nicht zufrieden war... Eine montierte Tafel herausgetrennt und beschnitten, aber beiliegend (USSR in construction, Heft 12). Die Einbände mäßig beschabt / bestoßen, insgesamt aber gut erhalten.
