Beveridge at the National Progressive Convention in August of 1912, together with a ticket granting a delegate entry to the convention and a 1919 newspaper article about Beveridge that mentions the speech. Loose within are the two tickets for the first two days of the Convention, and mounted in the volume is the ticket for day 3, stamped 'DELEGATE'; Albert J. Beveridge was an American historian and US senator from Indiana, who supported Theodore Roosevelt's progressive views and was the keynote speaker at the new Progressive Party convention which nominated Roosevelt for U.S. President in 1912. 1338748.
