An extensive publication, containing cast and crew lists and biographies, a synopsis of the film, stories from the film's production, and captions for still photographs (though the stills are not included with the manual). Joseph Losey's cult science fiction classic, in which a couple discovers a group of radioactive children who are being imprisoned and studied by the military, though their discovery inevitably proves fatal. Shot on location at Carnaby Street and Wormwood Scrubs. Tall blue titled wrappers, dated 2nd September, 1965, with an annotation in manuscript ink on the front wrapper, noting copy No. 44. Title page present, dated 27th August, 1965, with credits for novelist Richard Gordon and screenwriter Jack Davies. 100 leaves, with last page of text numbered 97. Xerographic duplication, rectos only. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Very Good plus, bound internally with a silver prong.
