Erstausgabe
Hardcover. Zustand: Fine. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Very Good. First Seperate Edition. 12mo., 180pp. Beautiful First Printing of what seems to be the first separate edition as this was "added" to "The Last Letters from Egypt", published by Macmillan in 1875. Bound in full green cloth with titles and decoration stamped in gold. Square, tight and clean throughout with little or no wear. Perhaps a hint at the spine ends and tips but barely. Small, neat date on front end-paper. Remarkably well-preserved. Very attractive and quite scarce, unclipped dust-jacket, (3s. 6d. net in the middle of the front flap), has couple of tiny nicks and closed tears. Toned edges and spine panel. Still quite bright and complete. A sharp and quite interesting collectable copy and uncommon in any condition. Impossible to find in dust-jacket.
