The first edition of this work in the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. A collaboration by three poets, who published their work together for economy reasons - especially due to World War II - and for friendship. Alan Hodge and Norman Cameron were known for their association with a group of writers and artists which included Laura Riding and Robert Graves. With seventeen poems by Alan Hodge, such as 'Advice in November,' 'Ever Heard,' and 'This Love'; eleven poems by Norman Cameron such as 'Forgive Me, Sire,' 'Three Love Poems,' and 'Moonlight, Waterlight, and Opal'; and eighteen poems by Robert Graves, such as 'A Love Story,' 'Dawn Bombardment,' and 'The Beast'. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, cloth is smart though a little faded to the spine and extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Six small tape repairs to the verso of the dust wrapper, which is chipped and darkened to the spine, but otherwise smart. Very Good Indeed. book.
