This is no. 9 of 500 copies printed in the first edition, with errata to the recto of the front wrap. Subtitled, 'Unusual, Rare and Interesting Oshigata', sward blades of all periods are discussed within this work. An oshigata is a drawing of a sword, focusing on its tempering and shape. These drawings have been used since before the advent of photography to record and document swords for reference.Fuller and Gregory would go on to collaborate on further works on Japanese swords of various periods.
