First edition. Limited edition, signed by the author. Publisher's original silver cloth and rose gold titles with photographic inlay of David Bowie to the upper board, in slipcase. Including 8 x 10 inch David Bowie portrait print (issued loose with the book, with this copy later framed). Illustrated with full page black and white photographic frontispiece of Sukita and David Bowie and a further 15 images of the photographer, with 200 photographs by Sukita. A fine copy, the binding square and firm, cloth bright and fresh, the contents clean throughout and free from inscriptions or stamps, with the fine slipcase. The photographic print, now framed, is in fine condition. Signed by Sukita in black ink on the limitation page. Issued in a signed and numbered limited edition of 200 copies, this example is number 140. Numbers 6 - 150 were issued with one of three photographic prints signed by Sukita in black ink to the lower right corner. This copy issued with a close up of David Bowie (Untitled 1973). Sukita's first retrospective featuring iconic images of David Bowie, Iggy Pop and Marc Bolan, also including early documentary work and rarely seen travel and street photography, with essays by Campbell Gunn and Yoshiro Fukukawa.
