Expected library inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as inscriptions, mild crinkling, mild tanning and thumb marking. Front endpaper is missing. Boards have mild edge wear with light rubbing and crushing. Some light marking and tanning. Boards are bowed. Book has a slight forward lean. Unclipped jacket has light edge wear with minor tears and chipping. Mild rubbing and marking. Tanning to spine and edges.

All edges gilt, half-title printed in red and green and a lovely color litho title plate again reading "A Christmas Carol" with lettering in red and gilt, holly sprig and gilt border. Unpaginated (3, title, 28) illustrated with 12 full page duotone litho drawings of religious and Christmas scenes and two page musical arrangement with lyrics. A tight copy, all gilt clear and mostly bright; cloth somewhat dusty and with moderate wear at tips and spine ends. A very scarce title, beautifully produced.
