Pages are lightly tanned and foxed throughout, heavier to endpapers and pastedowns. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding. Some dark staining to gutter of title page. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends with small splits and fraying to cloth. White marking to rear board. Unclipped jacket has heavy edge wear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing. Moderate tanning to spine and edges. Damp staining to panels, slightly heavier to spine.
