Additional note from former President Richard Nixon on his personal stationery to Bill Safire, recommending this book to him. He finished the letter with a personal note: "He's not yet in your class but he's getting there!." William Safire (1929-2009) served as a speech writer for Richard Nixon during his 1960 and 1968 presidential campaigns. He joined Nixon Administration in 1968 as a speechwriter for President Nixon and Vice President Spiro Agnew.
