VG 7 1/4" x 4 1/2" original front leather cover separated but present; rear board gone; basically just the "text block, " complete and should be rebound. 228 pgs. Followed by the 76 pg. "rejoinder, " titled: "An Answer to War in Disguise; or, Remarks Upon the New Doctrine of England concerning Neutral Trade. " (attributed to Gov. Morris) . First work is Howes S 397; the second is Howes M 825. There is a "duplicate" stamp on the title page of the first work; otherwise no other library markings. Some scattered foxing throughout, but basically clean and sound; with the tiny bookplate of George Brinley, printed "Brinley, " and then the handwritten number "4938."
