On page 41 begins a colour photo section to page 44. Has black/white photos of the assassination of Lee Harvey Oswald by Jack Ruby. Story is done as a daily description of events from Friday November 22, 1963 to Monday November 25, 1963, the day of funeral. Page 99 is an Acknowledgements page by Wes Gallagher, General Manager and listing all contributors. Very clear and moving photos of the instant of JFK's assassination.

Covers are burgundy cloth boards, lettering gilt, front has The torch is passed.... in script, spine has THE TORCH HAS PASSED... in block and The Associated Press. Covers and spine are flat, clean, burgundy is bright gold lettering is more like bronze or matte, boards and spine have one slightly bent corner tip, a very faint vertical creases beside spine but not on spine, minimal edge wear on corner tips and top and bottom of spine only, back of spine has a thin white mark onto back cover about 1 inch, back cover side edge has three shallow dent marks and at one is a chip that has torn the cloth and exposes the board 1/8 H x 1/16 inch W. Page edges are protected by the boards but may be slightly sunned. Inner end papers are white, ffep has unfortunately been neatly cut out. Inside of book is tight, clean, clear, bright, flat.
