Defects: binding significantly shaken, boards somewhat soiled and rubbed, heavy wrinkling to exterior cloth as from dampstaining (though no water damage is directly visible) , moderate wear to bottom edges of boards, light wear to head and foot of spine, heavy dampstaining at endpapers and to bottom half of most engravings. Front hinge cracked and attached only by strings of binding, rear hinge cracked, and several signatures at front of book becoming loose. Godey's Ladye-esque illustration pasted on inside of rear flyleaf. All pages complete and all text fully legible. Good reading or binding copy.
