Texas History Movies first appeared in the Dallas Morning News in comic/serial form in 1926. In 1928 it was published as a small softcover and in 1956 this softcover edition, a little be different in appearance was published. This little guy was sponsored by the Mobil Oil Company. The 1928 edition was distributed free of charge to schools. Not sure what the distribution history of this edition although there is no indication of a publisher, other then Mobil and there is no price shown anywhere. Some time after that it was judged to be quite racist. You judge. If you go by the number of listings of this title on the internet there doesn't seem to be many surviving copies.
