Revised Edition First published in 1951, this is the first printing of the revised edition. Small quarto, 10.25 inches tall, in heavily decorated white cloth with red martini glass on cover. 288 pages with decorations on each page of cartoonish female figures and glassware. 12 color plates in pin-up style nudes, each by a different artist of the period including James Montgomery Flagg, Al Dorne (whose illustration graces the cover), Russell Patterson, John Falter, John La Gatta. Oh, the book -- an excellent period recipe book for alcoholic beverages. A clean, soundly bound book with barely a touch of extremity wear. The publisher's clear acetate jacket is just a tad rubbed with very minor chipping at the ends of the flap folds. The slipcase, wrapped in paper with the book cover design, has modest corner wear and a moderately sunned back strip. Hardcover condition: Near Fine in Very Good+ Dustjacket, Very Good Slipcase
