Historical and descriptive information, mostly in tabular form, on population, locations of various places, school attendance, literacy, industrial and agricultural production, religion, bodies of water, etc. Hardcover, 15 3/4 inches (40 cm) tall; about 16 pounds, 918 pages; cover and some of the pages detached but nothing missing; no markings; slightly age-tanned; pages gilded on three sides; minor wear inside. Cover leather, black on the boards and red along the spine and corners, with gold lettering; some soiling and edgewear.
