Crofutt's: Crofutt's Tourist, 1875 New York G.W.Carleton & Co

Soft Cover Good with no dust jacket This is Volume 6 apparently published in 1875. The year is a small cutout pasted over what I think is 1874 by the publisher when this volume came out. The Title indicates Crofutt's Trans-Continental Tourist P.R.R. Enlarged, revised, rewritten. Described as; Full and authentic description of over five hundred cities, towns, villages, stations, government forts and camps, mountains, lakes, rivers, sulphur soda and hot springs; sceneery, watering places, summer resorts. Look for and hunt the buffalo, antelope, deer and other game; trout fishing, etc, etc. For the Union Pacific and Central Pacific railroad of california. Publishing date on this first page is 1874. The previous page has the pasted in 1875 date. The book is in fair to good condition, check my images. There are fold out maps included in the book, some of which are a bit rough with old wrinkles, tears and some pieces missing in the color one at the rear. Talk about a wonderful piece of history. Also has an insert that gives train schedules and Cunard Line sailings, advertising in this insert. About 8 by 10 inches with 160 pages.
