Proprium Sanctorum from 1690 in beautiful full morocco binding.Beautiful 17th century edition of the proper Masses of the separate festivals (Proprium Sanctorum) for the ecclesiastical year in Rome, with each volume containing the masses in full latin text for each season (as indicated by the spine titles: HYEM - VERN - AESTI - AUTU). The first volume also contains charts, tables and diagrams (woodcuts) of solar cycles, golden numbers, etc. used to determine Easter sunday. These masses for the Saints, like the masses of the season (Proprium de Tempore) are part of the roman missal. The mass on 18th of February (pope Gregory X) was added at the end of vol 1.
