Supplement au no. 219, Avril-Mai 1969.<p>Lurcat began by painting murals but found his true metier in searching for a way to bring the art of tapestry into the twentieth century. The ten tapestries which make up "Le Chant du Monde" were acquired by the town of Angers and were displayed in the Salle des Malades in the thirteenth century Hopital Saint-Jean. The text is in French with a four-page English translation laid in.
