Book itself is pristine inside and out with no bumping to boards. Only fault is small crease at crown of spine. Dustjacket is likewise nice with just one tiny tear to upper front corner which disappears in brand new mylar. Has not been price-clipped. Originally published in France where it won the Prix Sainte-Beuve, the Durchon Prize in Philosophy from the French Academy and the Grand Prize of the Syndicate of Critics in Paris. Book's theme is the human attitude toward Time as embodied in the literature of each epoch.
