Laid in at front is a beautifully coloured anniversary poster in Hebrew and English, with the address at bottom: Talmud Thora Jeshiwath Haye Olam & Orphans Kitchen P.O.B. 161, Jerusalem Palestine (Palestine is crossed out in ink and replaced with "Israel"). A caption in English on the left side of the poster at centre reads: "God full of mercy who develleth on hight cause the soul of the Mentioned here which hote gone to its rest to find repose in the wings of the Shechina, among the souls of the holy, and pure as the firmament of the skies, for they have offered charity for the memory of his (her) sould for the -- Jeshivath Haye Olam and Orphans Kitchen, for the soke of this conceol him (her) in the mystery of the wings forever and bind up his (her) soul in the land of life. May the Lord be his (her) inheritonce, and may he (she) repose in his (her) resting-place in peoce, and let us sayt Amen. The posted, approximately 13" x 18", although intact, is nearly separated into four piece as a result of weakness at the folds. Numerous tables in the book, 418pp includes bibliography and index.
