Hardcover Very Good+ in Very Good dust jacket Edition: 1st Edition Thus; 1st Edition Cover Art; This edition is limited to 3000 copies (actually 3118 copies according to The Arkham House Companion). Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of light bumping and rubbing. Black cloth covered boards have gilt lettering to spine of book. Top spine end of book has some light bumping and very beginning fraying (two strands). Text pages are clean & bright. Endpapers have started to yellow / tan a bit and there is a bookplate pasted on the front pastedown page -- It's a Hannes Bok bookplate with a picture of a satyr reading a book with two lovely scantily clad females peering over his shoulder (I haven't found out the title of this plate yet). Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping & rubbing. The dust jacket, unfortunately seems prone to acid related problems -- this particular dust jacket is a bit brittle and has some lightish, but noticeable darkening / toning. Also, there are several small chips, edge nicks and several small edge tears. Top spine end of dust jacket has been chipped off approximately one eighth inch to one fourth inch from top edge. Spine of dust jacket, again, has some lightish but noticeable toning / darkening.
