Illustrated with portrait frontis and seven mono full page photographic plates, one of Fallon's Military Cross, one of his telegram inviting him to Buckingham Palace to meet the King and five views taken in the Trenches. A near fine copy in publishers brown cloth lettered in black to front board and spine. In the scarce dustwrapper showing a photograph of a Tank driving over a ridge. Lettered in red to spine and both panels. Two small chips to the top of the spine, not affecting the lettering, otherwise a very good example of this uncommon wrapper.:.
