There are several other editions but this one bears the Author's note, "As I hear that it is proposed to reprint my anthologies 'Speculum Amantis' & 'Musa Proterva,' I have thought well to anticipate the project by issuing limited editions myself; and I have taken this opportunity of attributing to their proper authors certain poems that I had previously failed to identify. A. H. Bullen, New York, April, 1895".
