Erstausgabe
First Edition. Octavo. 19cm. Publisher's blue cloth titled in black to spine. Dustjacket. 256pp. Light wear to extremities, bumping to spine ends and a generally slightly dusty feel to it, in a bright, clean dustjacket with some spotting to the rear panel, shallow chipping and fraying to the upper edge, and a five letter notation in pen to the upper rear panel. A very good copy with some wear, nevertheless striking. Salvaged and edited (by Forrest J. Ackermann) from an unpublished 1920's manuscript. A weird psychological suspense novel dealing with a man who seems to have two very wildly differing sides to his character.
