First serialised in Weird Tales in 1932 with the title 'The Buccaneers of Venus'. One of three thousand copies. In the original unclipped dust wrapper. Set on Venus, the work concerns Robert Grandon, a man who's wife is kidnapped by a pirate race known as the Huitsenni. The work is considered the third in the Venus series. A very smart first edition of this fun novel, in the original bright dust wrapper. In the original red cloth binding in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally in excellent condition. Dust wrapper is very smart with the occasional minor closed tear to the extremities. Minor rubbing to the top of the front of the wrap resulting in some minor loss to the red hue. The odd mark and spot to the wrap. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with just the odd spot to the fore edge. Fine. book.
