Only Cale and his friends can get the last seed, the one from the dragon tree, but they?re grounded and can?t leave their castles. Cale is in despair, but Ridel raises his spirits when he tells him that the seed of the dragon tree can only be removed by another dragon, with no human help. Cale decides to train Mondrago to get the seed. When Mondrago sets out on his mission, Cale decides that it?s about time to let all the residents of Samarado find out who is the evil person who?s destroying the forest of the talking trees. He sends a carrier pigeon to his friends and asks them to sneak out and meet up with him to set a trap. Will Mondrago come back with the seed? Will the kids get the townspeople to believe in them again? Will they manage to plant the six seeds so that new talking trees can grow again?

Mondragó es un dragón diferente, no puede volar, se distrae con mucha facilidad, se tropieza todo el rato y estornuda sin parar echando fuego por la nariz... pero a pesar de ello, es todo un aventurero y siempre se las ingenia para sacar de más de un apuro a su dueño y mejor amigo, un chico de once años llamado Cale. En la séptima entrega, las cosas no podían ir peor. Cale está castigado en su castillo y, esa misma noche, debería ir con sus amigos al Bosque de la Niebla con las seis semillas. ¿Pero cómo va a recuperar la sexta semilla si no puede salir? Para colmo, en Samaradó ha comenzado la operación de búsqueda y captura de Curiel y, desde la ventana de su habitación, Cale oye disparos y dragones que se acercan peligrosamente. Biografía del autor:
Ana Galán nació en Oviedo y pasó su infancia y gran parte de su juventud en Madrid. Después de trasladarse a Nueva York en 1989 empezó su carrera como autora, editora y traductora. --------- Ana Galán was in charge of publishing Spanish books for ten years at Scholastic, a children’s publisher headquartered in New York. In the summer of 2008, she decided to go out on her own and work exclusively on her writing. She is the author of numerous children’s Books in Spanish as well as English. These include: No Is No, Sí Is Yes; Billy Bully; Who Wears Glasses, and El Secreto de la biblioteca/The Library’s Secret. Her first YA novel, Tres años en Nueva York (Three Years in New York) was published in Spain by Planeta in the spring of 2011. Ana also has published humor books for adults. Ana lives in New York with her husband and three teenagers. When she is not writing, translating, or editing, she raises guide dogs for the blind. She also directs The NOLATREE, a non profit organization that takes teenagers on trips to do community service in New Orleans and other cities.
