The essays are written by Jan Wolenski, an internationally acclaimed historian of logic and a member of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the International Institute of Philosophy.

Jan Wole ski is Emeritus Professor of Philosophy. He is a member of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences and the International Institute of Philosophy. The author published 25 books, edited or co-edited 30 collections, and published more than 600 research papers.
