The Campaign in Poland 1939 was written by the United States Military Academy, home of Army strategists and war planners during World War II. It was largely based on Army military intelligence at the time, and therefore it was classified and printed only in limited numbers. Included is the German order of battle and what was known of the Polish Army at the time. Also included are six maps, original to the document, which illustrate the German and Polish Army positions over the course of 17 days and until the Soviet Union crossed the border on September 17.
