Tom Normand comprehensively explores the artist's collection, selecting core subjects and ideas, examining diverse tropes and genres, and reviewing topics and issues. Tom Normand is Senior Lecturer in the History of Art at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. He has a special interest in Scottish art and culture and has published widely in this area. His works range from historical studies like `The Modern Scot: Modernism and Nationalism in Scottish Art', to books on contemporary artists including Ken Currie and Calum Colvin.
