Críticas:
The Wales Coast Path, which opened in 2012, is the longest waymarked trail in Britain running 875 miles from Chester to Chepstow. This guide describes a 57·day schedule for the route. with days covering distances from 12 to 20 miles, although it will still be useful if you don't stick to this schedule exactly. The days are also grouped into nine sections, each one between four and 11 days long - useful if you're planning to do the walk in stages rather than all in one go (and reaching the end of each section will be a mental milestone if you're doing the whole walk). Packed with information, including a whopping appendix that shows the amenities in every town and village along the way, while still being quite compact. --Adventure Travel Magazine, June 2015

Paddy Dillon is the doyen among long distance footpath guide writers. This is his 32nd guide for Cicerone alone, but this time, he's abandoned his recent flirtation with more exotic locations such as Greenland, Iceland, Mallorca and Tenerife for the newly-inaugurated 875-mile Wales Coast Path... And what a coastline it is! Paddy's painstakingly meticulous directions take the walker unerringly from the contorted, precambrian turbidites of Anglesey to the golden sands of the Pembrokeshire coast and the Gower, with the sweeping arc of Cardigan Bay and the castle-crowned hills of Snowdonia in-between... The photography is up to Paddy's usual high standard, giving a mouth-watering incentive to would-be walkers who want to literally 'discover the shape of a nation'. --Outdoor Focus, Winter 2015
Reseña del editor:
The Welsh Coast Path, at 870 miles is the longest trail in Britain, tracing the coastline from Chester to Chepstow. This guidebook divides the entire coastal path into 9 geographical areas and 57 stages, ranging between 10 to 20 miles in length. However there is no need to stick rigidly to this schedule, as there are usually places where each stage can be broken early, or extended further. Alongside detailed route descriptions and maps for each stage, the guidebook provides a range of practical information, whether you plan to walk the Wales Coast Path in full, in shorter sections, or as a series day-walks. Travel information, advice on accommodation and planning, as well as details on the history, wildlife and geology of the coast ensure that this is an ideal companion to uncovering the Welsh coast on foot.. NOTA: El libro no está en español, sino en inglés.
