Follow a penguin s travels through the jungle, farm and savannah, meeting different characters along the way in Animal Adventure. Each different scene includes a fun rhyme to help the child to trace the die-cut route with their finger. Tracing each route will encourage children to make the shapes present in very early letter formation. The element of tracing on each spread follows the Montessori practice of muscular memory whereby the child refines their senses through visual and physical interaction. The action of tracing each trail, integrated in the artwork, will help to develop hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity in young children, preparing them for writing through a fun activity. Each spread includes a different scene to introduce the early learning concept of habitats and a whole host of different animal names and vocabulary.
