Nick Kalvin, M.D. is an ophthalmologist and former Navy Flight Surgeon, who had a private practice 35 years, is now semi-retired. An Edward Rector Scholar, graduated, with honors, in pre-med at DePauw University in Indiana. There, he was president of the pre-med honorary, DOX, and joined Delta Tau Delta. He studied medicine at Ohio State, graduated cum laude, did basic research at Ohio State, and at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami. He scored the top grade, in 1959, on Ohio's State Medical Board Exams of over 400 takers, chosen as the school's Outstanding Freshman and the Merck Senior. Elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, (Phi Beta Kappa of med schools), he was the founding President of the Landacre Student Research Society at Ohio State. Nick served as president of his county medical society, NCH physician staff, and the Florida Society of Ophthalmology. He published medical articles, and poetry. Sexual Jihad is his first novel. He is at work on the sequel, Chaos versus the Caliphate. Radical Islam now threatens the entire world, as well as moderate Muslims.
