Dr. Andrew Abela designed the Extreme Presentation™ approach to meet the pressing need for presentation development where failure is not an option. He has been designing and delivering effective presentations to senior executives—and training and coaching others to do so—for over 25 years. He is currently Dean of the School of Business and Economics at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. Prior to this he worked as a brand manager with Procter & Gamble, as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, and he was the founding managing director of the Marketing Leadership Council, a best-practices research and executive membership organization serving Chief Marketing Officers at hundreds of leading corporations worldwide. He is also the author of Advanced Presentations by Design, 2e (Pfeiffer/Wiley, 2013), which explains the proven Extreme Presentation™ Method and is based on a comprehensive review of the extensive empirical research on effective presentation. Paul J. Radich has worked with Dr. Abela from the beginning on the development and delivery of the Extreme Presentation™ workshops, and on his previous book Advanced Presentations by Design, 2e (Pfeiffer/Wiley, 2013), which is among the top 10% of business books sold. He is currently Assistant Professor of Marketing at The Catholic University of America, and was named to the Ethics Committee of the American Marketing Association. While at the Corporate Executive Board’s Marketing Leadership Council, he worked on visual layout in their best-practice case studies and on data visualization in their benchmarking studies. He provides consulting and training to major global corporations, including JP Morgan Chase, Baxter International, Visa, and Microsoft.
