Reseña del editor:
The dreams haunted her. Jorahn was compelled to seek out the dragons from her nighttime illusions. The thought of dragons intoxicated her! But, they lived with the hated men on the other side of the island, the enemy to her tribe of warrior women. Why did the dragons live with the men? Why didn’t her Ruby Stone protect her from this madness? Then one day Jorahn was hunting and their worlds collide when Segua’d and his injured dragon are mysteriously stranded in her path. Was it a chance encounter or was it magic? The meeting becomes the catalyst for extraordinary events that suddenly begin to occur and surprisingly reveal secrets surrounding the Ruby Stones, the dragons, and Jorahn’ s concealed past.
Biografía del autor:
Cathie Maher’s leap into writing was triggered by a need to release her dragons to paper. When she lived in Denver, CO she belonged and participated with the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers. After she moved to Atlanta, Georgia, she joined the Atlanta Writers Club and participated bi-weekly in a writers critique group. Writing was her destiny. She IS a member of the medieval recreation group, the Society for Creative Anachronism and has been for 30 years. Within this group she has researched and written many articles on how to make items that existed and were used prior to the 16th century. She traveled to England twice to do research on how to design and sew leather gloves, her favorite craft. Her participation in this organization fueled her imagination to create her world of dragons. When she isn’t writing, Cathie works full time for a large company. She likes to run, hike, read or just go for long walks with her dog Bobo. Look for more stories from her land of dragons. Book two in the Dragon Mist series, the Crystal Stone, is now under construction. Visit http://cathiemaherauthor.weebly.com to learn more about her books and connections via social media.
