Bayside History Trail: A View from the Water - Softcover

Currently out of print, this book is both an armchair guide and actual boater's guide to the history of the Western Branch of the Lynnhaven River in Virginia Beach. Historical sites that are on or near the water are located and described from the early settlement by colonials to the prisoner of war camp during WW II to the modern day Mt Trashmore. A waterfront restaurant which is the perfect place to paddle or motor for a fine dinner is described along this route. This little guidebook can be enjoyed on many levels.
