This book addresses some of the most difficult problems that students face today: gangs, violence, disrespect, addictions, lack of motivation, and obstructiveness. The author speaks in a straightforward, conversational tone and points out that difficult students are in the eye of the beholder. He also notes that judging difficult and resistant students is often based on our perspective and not necessarily on fact.
