Peter R. Lavoy is Deputy Director of National Intelligence for Analysis and Chairman of the National Intelligence Council. He has previously served as Principal Director for Requirements, Plans and Counterproliferation Policy and Director for Counterproliferation Policy in the Office of Secretary of Defense.
