Uncertain Programming - Hardcover

This text contains courses that can be taught in business schools and operations research departments in addition to the usual computer science, mathematics and engineering courses. Uncertain programming is directly related to methods of constructing decision support systems, software capable of analyzing complex situations (such as in the stock market) and rendering a buy/sell decision based on incomplete information. It may use elements of fuzzy logic, genetic algorithms and neural networks in conjunction with empirical data to solve a given problem. It includes many worked exercises and references written at a level useful for business schools as well as mathematicians and computer scientists.
