Dear sir: I have the honor to present to you, and through you to his excellency the governor, my report of the transactions of the treasury department for the biennial term ending January showing the receipts and expenditures of the department, balances remaining in the various funds, the State indebtedness, amount of taxes due from the several counties, deposits made by the foreign insurance companies doing business in this State, abstracts of loans made from the several trust funds, and other matter pertaining to the finances of the State.
