Críticas:
"...the first book to offer a practical, clear and useful foundation for the fledgling negotiator." "Financial World" "Paul Harding's approach, based on his own considerable experience, gives the wider perspective and practical context within which the ISDA Master Agreement operates and for that reason should provide any ISDA negotiator starting out or otherwise with an easily accessible guide along the way." Richard Atkinson , Director and Senior Counsel , Merrill Lynch Europe plc "A real practitioner's guide to negotiating ISDA agreements, this distills years of experience into a single work. The detailed clause by clause analysis of the agreement supplemented by an examination of current market practice and provisions will prove to be a valuable training manual and reference book for inexperienced and experienced negotiators alike." Keith Spiller, Executive Director, UBS Warburg, London "Those who enter the 'ISDA business' will now have the great opportunity to be guided through the whole ISDA Agreement and all related documents. This book is closing a gap which was existing for a long period of time." Wilfried F. Schutte, Landesbank Hessen-Thuringen Girozentrale, Legal Department/Master Agreements "This text will prove invaluable to those embarking on a career involving ISDA negotiation. Its detailed analysis of the Master Agreement and common provisions of the Schedule should make this a popular choice for negotiators in banks, corporates and law firms. My only complaint is that it wasn't published earlier." Kurt Crommelin, Head of Derivatives Documentation, HypoVereinsbank, London "Harding's book will prove as useful to negotiators in the future as Gooch & Klein's book has been in the past." Christian A. Johnson, Associate Professor, Loyola University Chicago School of Law
Reseña del editor:
The ISDA Master Agreement was published by the International Swaps and Derivatives Association , Inc. in January 1993 and is the main agreement used in the over-the-counter (OTC) global derivatives market.Every year organisations such as banks, financial institutions and major corporations collectively spend millions of pounds in training people on the ISDA Master Agreement. Courses often last 3-4 days and tend to leave attendees with bulky, uncoordinated materials and brain overload. The ISDA Master Agreement is a complex document and it normally takes 1-2 years for a negotiator to become fully proficient. This book provides a practical, clear and useful foundation for the fledgling negotiator. It will give the many new entrants to derivatives documentation the confidence to approach their work, without the need for constant reference to seniors or regular attendance on training courses.
