Reseña del editor:
Nothing is impossible, says David Berglas. Possessing a phenomenal memory is open to all. We all have the capacity though seldom make full use of it. To unlock the mind's storehouse, it is necessary first to sweep away the old habits of tedious repetition and grinding concentration. Instead recall can then become natural and effortless. Young or old, everyone will be astonished by the immediate effect of the simple techniques Berglas has devised for keeping names, faces, numbers and complex information on tap whenever wanted. For more than thirty years David Berglas has travelled the world with his industrial seminars on mind and memory training. His method is unique while the psychological theory on which it is based is centuries old. With a long and fascinating introductory essay on the elusive and mysterious nature of memory by Guy Lyon Playfair, Berglas has produced a lively and practical guide with the scope and originality of Edward de Bono's The Use of Lateral Thinking. He is well qualified to show us the way for he received his training as a psychotherapist at London's Tavistock Clinic, but his claim to fame does not rest there. As an entertainer he has performed with such celebrities as Orson Welles, Omar Sharif and the Rolling Stones, and in 1986 he returned to television with a remarkable Channel 4 series, 'The Mind of David Berglas', presenting a cerebral fireworks display of mental agility. His book, illustrated with photographs and drawings, will provoke no less a magical response.
